Printer offline or refusing to print?
If the printer has power and works mechanically, a connection or software issue may be something we can investigate remotely. Start by telling us the printer model and the exact message on screen.
Individual support from $79 AUD for 60 minutes
Check software and connections first
A printer showing “offline” may be on a different network, using an old address or waiting behind a failed job. We can review the computer’s printer setup and guide you through safe checks.
- Stuck jobs and the wrong default printer
- Official manufacturer drivers and software
- Wireless printer setup on an existing network
- Scanner configuration and basic app troubleshooting
Remote support has physical limits
We cannot clear a paper jam, replace an ink cartridge or repair a worn mechanism remotely. Keep the manufacturer’s instructions handy for any physical checks. Do not disassemble the printer because a webpage suggests it.
Avoid misleading driver-download sites
Use the printer manufacturer’s own support website. Paid “driver updater” tools and phone numbers in ads can add cost without solving the underlying connection problem. If a work printer is shared through a server, your business administrator may need to assist.
